Building Awards 2008
On Tuesday 1 April, the 14th annual Building Awards took place in the grand surroundings of the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The prestigious Building Awards reward best practice, innovation and excellence in the construction industry.
It's the biggest construction event of the year and was attended by over 1500 industry professionals. Alistair McGowan hosted the glittering ceremony, keeping an audience of key construction industry professionals entertained all evening, and Katherine Jenkins gave a breathtaking performance.
Once again, Hays Construction, the UK's leading specialist recruitment consultancy in construction jobs, was pleased to sponsor the Construction Consultant of the Year Award. This category was open to all sizes of multidisciplinary practices and all types of construction consultant.
Davis Langdon scoops Construction Consultant of the Year award
The judges were looking for strong evidence of success in 2007 and chose Davis Langdon as a very deserving winner. The other finalists in this category were:
