Construction Manager of the Year Winners Announced

Awards sponsor Hays Construction is delighted to announce the winners of the Construction Manager of the Year Awards 2008. The ceremony was held at the Marriott Grosvenor Hotel on Wednesday 29th October, and was attended by construction professionals from across the UK. As the official recruitment partner of the CIOB since 1994, Hays Construction was delighted to sponsor two of the awards, highlighting the integral role we play in the industry and our commitment to the professionals working within it.

The winner of the £11-15 million awards was Dean Cobley from Marriott Construction for his work on Brockington College, Leicester. In second place, taking home silver for his work on Macclesfield high school in Macclesfield was Guy Lacey MCIOB, from Wilmott Dixon Construction.

In the £7-11 million projects category Anthony Joubert from Camerons Ltd won gold for his hard work on Liberation Place & Liberation Station, Jersey, and Geoff Wright MCIOB from HBG Construction was awarded silver for his restoration of Royal Harrogate Hall.
