Event Synopsis

Effective performance management is not a separate HR activity but should be integrated into all aspects of an organisation’s people management processes and linked to long term strategy and goals.

While recent years have seen wider acceptance of ideas such as 360-degree appraisal, in many organisations employees remain sceptical about the performance appraisal process and the capability of line managers to manage their performance fairly.

This conference will share good practice about all aspects of performance management from setting objectives to measuring performance.

Delegates will hear the latest thinking on how to improve performance of individuals and how to deal with poor performers. New thinking in performance-related pay and competences will be among the themes covered.
