A long, long time ago (ok, 1965) in a galaxy far, far away (ok, West Yorkshire, UK) some clever outdoor bods said “Let's make some clothing that can withstand really nasty weather and then let's prove it by climbing Everest.”

And so Craghoppers, a very British company, was born.

Since that day we've never stopped moving and we've continued to...(cue the manipulatively emotional music) head out into this big beautiful world to become the leading authority in travel and adventure clothing.

We research and use the most advanced fabric technology. We produce the most effective, comfortable and protective clothing designs. We incorporate the very latest features and systems into every garment. And we do it all for you!

In 2007 we launched the Bear Grylls outdoor adventure clothing range. This is the kit Bear has been trialling and wearing throughout the last television series of Man Vs Wild/Born Survivor. Tough, mosquito repellant, sun-screened and climbing-stretchy in the right places!
