Hays sponsors BCASS Football Tournament

The Birmingham Chartered Accountants Students Society - BCASS - is teaming up with Hays Senior Finance recruitment to hold the annual football tournament at Goals in Star City, Birmingham.

The event will see approximately 28 teams of male and female trainee chartered accountants battle it out to win the 2008 tournament this January. Small, medium and large firms - including Ernst and Young and KPMG - take part in this event yearly.

Greg Emmerson, Senior Manager of Hays Public Practice division in Birmingham said: "Hays are delighted to sponsor the annual football tournament with BCASS. We are looking forward to watching the inter-firm rivalries played out on the pitch and enjoying an action packed day at Goals."

Anne Hipkiss, Administrator of BCASS and organiser of the event says: "This annual event has been held for over 20 years as we continue to great support from our members and encourages the networking between students from all firms taking part and “kick” starts the 2008 BCASS Calendar of events".
