You could be responsible for mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems.
C&I engineers are esponsible for design, specification and services related to control systems. These include basic process control systems, safety and analyser systems, field instrumentation, and valves. Candidates will normally be certified Licensed or Chartered Professional Engineers.
Geophysicist and reservoir engineering jobs
A geophysicist will usually have a geology or geophysics degree with seismic and/or process knowledge and will be involved in the technical evaluation of exploration, development and production projects. A reservoir engineer will similarly be qualified in geoscience or reservoir engineering.
QHSE coordinators are responsible for a company's QHSE systems and procedures, conducting external and internal audits, supervising the safety and well being of all company personnel while on the premises. A NEBOSH certificate is the industry standard qualification. Whichever route you opt for, prior experience of oil jobs and gas jobs is a definite bonus
