CIPS Premier Conference
Hays Purchasing & Supply was delighted to exhibit at the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Suppy (CIPS) Premier Conference, which took place from the 4-6 June held at the Victoria Plaza Hotel, London.
The event aimed at both public and private sector purchasing professionals, focused on Risk and Reward in a Global Marketplace and was a great success , offering delegates unique opportunities to learn from organisations that have met the challenges presented by the global marketplace.
The session taken by Ellis Watson (previously MD of Celador) was a highlight, giving real insight into the pitfalls and successes of selling on the global marketplace, drawing from his experience of selling the rights to ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ worldwide.
The event also saw the launch of the 2007 Hays Purchasing & Supply Salary & Benefits Guide, a comprehensive guide with 14 detailed salary tables, divided by region and sector. It is an indispensable tool for benchmarking, budgeting and resource planning.
