CILT Annual Awards For Excellence 2007 - the winners!
Hays Purchasing & Supply, the UK's leading recruitment cnsultancy for purchasing and supply jobs, was once again proud to sponsor the CILT(UK) Diploma Student of the Year and Certificate Student of the Year at the Institute's Annual Awards for Excellence.
Award winners
Our warmest congratulations and best wishes for future career success go to Darren O'Keefe, who took the CILT(UK) Diploma Student of the Year accolade and to the CILT (UK) Certificate Student of the Year winner, Christopher Vanstone.
The Awards were presented to a CILT(UK) logistics student who has successfully completed their studies for the CILT(UK) Certificate in Logistics, Diploma in Logistics or Advanced Diploma in Logistics, between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2007.
Nominations were made by the CILT(UK) Approved Centre where the candidate studied. The Institute's Professional Development Policy Committee, whose decisions are final, chose the winning students.
Other awards presented on the night rewarded best practice within logistics and transport from both individuals such as the Young Manager of the Year Award and organisational/group awards such as the Environmental Improvement and Supply Chain Integration awards.
Gala dinner
Finalists were invited to a Gala Dinner on Thursday 11 October at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
This popular event was attended by finalists, sponsors, members and their guests, offering one of the best networking opportunities of the year.
